My thoughts on this is that you don't have to deal with it at all. The internet is all about anarchy and freedom and I love that. Let people be themselves and thank them for speaking their mind.

It’s really important (and hard) to remember that it’s not about you. Actually, it’s never about you.

This quote describes the heart of my solution to the problem. The mean comments belongs to the ones who write them, it's their problem that they can't be nice. Those who post mean comments have problems, they need love and understanding.

If you're wondering why I have disabled comments on my blog, it's because I got spammed and was too lazy to install captcha. If you want to comment on my blog, you either only have a little snippet to say that doesn't really matter. Or you have a lot to say in which case you might as well write a full blog post on your own blog and link to me.
